Nicole Garcia has established her career in HR by helping organizations ranging from 100 to 1,000 employees integrate their people strategy with their business strategy. As a recognized Human Resources leader by the Society for HR Management, she currently leads the HR function at a mid-sized content studio, supporting its acceleration and growth. Her specialization is enhancing the workplace culture to create a unique competitive advantage in achieving business results. By leveraging employee engagement and leadership coaching, she helps build a compelling workplace that grows, adapts, and is resilient to disruption.
Previously, she was a Human Capital Consultant at Deloitte, advising such clients in the technology, media, and telecommunications industry as well as energy, resources, and industrials. Her work experience includes workforce transformation efforts such as workforce planning and leadership development. In addition, she strategically aligns HR initiatives and business objectives by improving operational effectiveness, enhancing organizational culture through employee engagement efforts, talent acquisition strategy, and HR systems and processes while modeling the importance of diversity, equity, inclusion, and company values.
Some of Nicole’s accomplishments include obtaining her Masters of Science in HR Management from the University of Southern California, DEI in the Workplace Certificate from the University of South Florida, and SHRM-CP certification. Additionally, she has held leadership roles in organizations such as the Professionals in Human Resources Association and the USC HR Management Association.
When she is not working, Nicole enjoys playing soccer with her dogs and board games with friends.
