Personal Information:
Gabriela Perez was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Gabriela obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Loyola Marymount University, a Masters in Organizational Leadership in Human Resources from Claremont Lincoln University, and currently completing a dual Masters degree in Dispute Resolution and Legal Studies from the Caruso School of Law, Pepperdine University. For over two decades, Gabriela has worked in various industries, including multimedia, Legal, non-profit, Union, and education sectors. She currently works at the Central American Resource Center (CARECEN), a non-profit organization founded in 1983 by refugees determined to secure legal status for the thousands of Central Americans fleeing civil war, where she is the Human Resources Director. As the Human Resources Director, she promotes a culture of learning, leadership, collaboration, inclusion, and respect.
Being part of Professional Latinas will allow her to collaborate and contribute to the Latino Community aiding women in their success. Gabriela believes opportunities are endless for those who have to seek them and are focused on their goals. Therefore, she desires to give back to the community and be a resource and support to others. Gabriela is married and lives with her husband and four children in California.
