Personal Information:
Erica Murillo is a passionate, self-motivated healthcare professional. She has over 15 years of leadership experience in healthcare. Born to Mexican immigrant parents, Erica knows the value of hard work and the importance of having a voice. Raised in Houston in a family of 6, she is the first to graduate high school and the first to obtain a bachelor’s degree. Being in a leadership position, Erica hopes to empower Latinos to advocate for themselves and their families.
Erica enjoys involvement in multiple organizations that build her leadership skills, such as Prospanica, And National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE).
Erica graduated from Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Healthcare Administration at Texas Woman’s University. She works fulltime as a practice administrator for an orthopedic surgeon in Houston.
Erica resides in Spring Texas with her Army Veteran husband Peter and two kids Josifine (15) and Kael (12). They love to spend time together watching movies and playing games.
